Gaylord offers recreational, leisure and wellness activities for people with disabilities to restore and encourage independence.
Aquacize is a community pool exercise program for people of all ages with disabilities and for older adults. The program is ideal for people with post-surgical, neurological, orthopedic and sports-related conditions. Structured classes and open swim hours are available to members. A nominal membership fee is required.
Robert W. Barrett Adaptive Sports Clinics
Seasonal sports clinics in archery, golf, skiing and tennis stimulate interest in recreational options that have therapeutic value for people who are physically challenged.
Sports Discovery Days
Gaylord sponsors Discovery programs to introduce people to activities such as quad rugby, sailing, scuba diving, self defense, skiing, soaring, swimming and wheelchair basketball.
