I suffered a brain aneurysm in June of 04 and did subsequent outpatient therapy at Gaylord. When I first came I had to relearn to walk again and my short term memory was terrible - couldn't remember what I had just done! I was in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for about a year. Through Gaylord's perseverance I was able to regain full ability and am now gainfully employed with a 4 year old son! My therapist at the time I believe was Ellen and I just want to say THANK YOU!

After a motorcycle accident left my then fiance with a broken neck and unable to walk or use his arms, he was transported to Gaylord. The entire staff there pushed him to his limits and he found himself begging for more [therapy]. The work that the physical and occupational therapists did with him daily helped him achieve his goal of standing at the altar the day of our wedding only 5 months later. We could never thank the hospital enough and we'll never forget the people there that made it possible for my husband and I to lead the lives we do today. We are eternally grateful to each and every staff member.
