Have fun while supporting Gaylord! Throughout the year fundraising events are hosted by Gaylord or are created and hosted on our behalf by individuals, businesses, foundations or organizations. We hope that you will not only attend an event but that you or your organization will be inspired to create a benefit event on behalf of Gaylord. Events for 2013 are below. 2014 Fundraising Events
Gaylord's Creative Expressions Program accommodates artists of all abilities. More than 125 pieces of art will be displayed and available for purchase and proceeds will benefit the artists and the Creative Expressions Program.

The Elizabeth Birney Gagliardi Endowment Fund for Multiple Sclerosis was established at Gaylord for providing care for those with MS. Every donation makes a tremendous difference by offering financial assistance to MS patients whose insurance benefits have expired.

The Annual Golf Classic is an 18-hole, competitive golf tournament in the scramble format held the first Monday of every June at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford. This tournament provides the operating income for Gaylord’s adaptive sports program for people with physical disabilities.

The M.J. Petretto Foundation’s mission is to fund organizations that support education health, and quality of life to build stronger Connecticut communities. The Foundation was also inspired by a 2008 automobile accident that nearly claimed the life of M.J.’s nephew, Jesse. Each year The MJ Petretto Foundation Golf Classic helps fund Gaylord Hospital’s Spinal Cord Injury Program and other non-profit Connecticut Organizations. M.J. Petretto Golf Sign-Up Form

At Gaylord, no obstacle is too great - and that's true for our 5k Trail Run. Challenge yourself with a variety of obstacles as you run through our wooded campus. All proceeds will benefit the Gaylord Sports Association which provides adaptive sports for people with physical disabilities. Register online today! 2015 Fundraising Events
The 10th annual Tip-a-Player Dinner and Sports Carnival will be held on the floor of the XL Center in Hartford, CT. The event features Wolf Pack players waiting on tables and area Hartford restaurants provide a mini Taste of Hartford. The carnival features bounce houses, face painting and velcro walls for children. Fans can pose with the hockey players and play against them in the Sports Carnival. There is also a silent auction.

This popular event raises money for the Gaylord Fund to underwrite patient needs and help maintain programs dependent on donations such as Therapeutic Recreation, the Chaplaincy and Music for Relaxation. The event includes a menu of options to please everyone in your group:
- Mini “Taste of Hartford” featuring food donated by area restaurants
- Dinner and beverages served by the hockey players
- Sports Carnival for the kids complete with inflatables, face painting and games
- Locker Room tours
- Silent Auction
- Bidding on jerseys worn by the players that night
- Autographs and activities with the players who compete against each other to garner the most “Puck Bucks” - the currency of the evening
