Frequently Asked Questions
How experienced are Gaylord’s Physical Therapists?
What should I bring with me to my appointment?
Each member of the team at Gaylord Physical Therapy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is highly skilled and educated. Many of our therapists have years of treating experience and many have completed their doctorates in physical therapy. Visit Our Physical Therapy Team page to see their bios and learn more.
You should bring, or have sent to Gaylord before your evaluation, your medical records from your referring health care provider. These should include your notes from surgeon or urgent care center, if involved, and the detailed reports of any imaging studies you have related to your surgery or injury, including MRI, CT scan, and/or x-rays.
What is the benefit of having Gaylord's physical therapy clinic located inside a fitness center?
As a partner with HealthTrax Fitness and Wellness, Gaylord clients are able to use the state-of-the-art equipment at the gym. We frequently have clients warm up or cool down on a treadmill or bicycle located adjacent to the clinic treating space. We can also progress clients to a gym routine during or as their therapy programs finishes.
