Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers make things happen. Volunteers are people from the community, from all walks of life. Volunteers help carry out the hospital's mission to bring quality rehabilitation to our patients. There are many ways you can volunteer.

Volunteers

Gaylord volunteers assist with many patient activities:

• Visiting patients
• Transporting to therapies
• Recreational events
• Providing interpreting services

Volunteers also provide much needed assistance to hospital staff:

• Word processing
• Reception
• Office staffing

The Gaylord Hospital Auxiliary

The Auxiliary is a unique volunteer corps of individuals who are committed to Gaylord's success. The Auxiliary manages the hospital gift shop. Its revenues help support Gaylord's services. The Auxiliary also sponsors many activities such as:

• The Women with Disabilities Conference
• The Barbara Chase Lane Scholarship
• Spring and Fall Luncheon programs
