A strength of Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is our interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Each patient care team is led by a physician and is made up of other clinical members who are appropriate to your care. Team members may be from Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Respiratory Therapy, Care Coordination, Nutritional Services, Psychology, and Therapeutic Recreation.
Through interactive discussion, our expert clinical team works with you and you family to create an individualized plan of care. It is important for you to participate in the development of this plan by your sharing concerns and providing input toward your goals.
We have successfully helped many of our patients meet their goals through hard work, determination and perseverance. Generally a patient’s goal is to return home. When this is not possible, our expert clinical team will help you to transition to the next level of care.
