Very often our staff or individual medical units receive notes from patients, their families or friends about the care they received at Gaylord. We deeply appreciate these notes and your words encourage and fuel our vision on a daily basis. Thank you for taking the time to communicate with us.

I suffered a brain aneurysm in June of 04 and did subsequent outpatient therapy at Gaylord. When I first came I had to relearn to walk again and my short term memory was terrible - couldn't remember what I had just done! I was in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for about a year. Through Gaylord's perseverance I was able to regain full ability and am now gainfully employed with a 4 year old son! My therapist at the time I believe was Ellen and I just want to say THANK YOU!
After a motorcycle accident left my then fiance with a broken neck and unable to walk or use his arms, he was transported to Gaylord. The entire staff there pushed him to his limits and he found himself begging for more [therapy]. The work that the physical and occupational therapists did with him daily helped him achieve his goal of standing at the altar the day of our wedding only 5 months later. We could never thank the hospital enough and we'll never forget the people there that made it possible for my husband and I to lead the lives we do today. We are eternally grateful to each and every staff member.

I recently had the chance to use Gaylord Physical Therapy in North Haven, CT. People these days are so quick to criticize services they receive, so I felt the need to praise the service and care I received.
I had a bad experience with a "simple" surgery that went awry. From the moment I stepped into this facility, I was greeted pleasantly which is rare these days. From there I was placed in the care of a gentleman named Frank. He was exceptional. He took the time with me and my "issues" and treated me with the utmost care and concern.
I actually had the pleasure of having to work with others there as well, and each and everyone of them were wonderful.
I always felt like I was important to them and that my care was a concern to them. They all should be praised for their wonderful work as they are true professionals in their field.
Without Frank's help, I would not be walking as well as I am today. I feel so lucky that I chose Gaylord Physical Therapy and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Sports Association Team,
My family volunteered for the Sports Association’s Veterans Fishing Tournament in Hartford on Sept 16th. My youngest son was a volunteer angler. You didn't mind that my daughter baked goodies for the vets. My husband Tom and I haven't volunteered for you before, but you kindly welcomed us with open arms. We still have all kinds of warm and fuzzy from the Tournament.
It was so much fun. Katie, Aggie, Matt, Bassmaster Sarge Joe, Al Guite, AT&T, and all the other wonderful volunteers let us help you make this a special day for our Awesome Wounded Warriors. We loved meeting our brave veterans. We loved helping you give these wonderful women and men a nice day "on the river." I wore my Red Sox cap, and even this caused laughter. The Vets either teased me or praised me (for being a Sox fan).
On a personal note: Our son and Mike, the Veteran he fished with, connected extremely well. Happily, they plan to go fishing together. . .on their own. . .in addition to attending the tournaments you sponsor. Our son is a workaholic. Mike
will get him out of the office and relaxing on the boat. Mike is an exceptional young man. We hope Mike and his fiancée Chelsea become a permanent part of our wacky extended family.
We eagerly look forward to helping Team Sports Association on future Fishing Tournaments. Again, thank you for this opportunity to be part of the September Tournament.
See you all soon, Blessed Be, Love and Hugs,
P. and Family, Woodstock, CT
