PROGRAM INFORMATION: Get moving with the fourth round of the Gaylord Sports Association Virtual Fitness Series! This FREE 9-session virtual class series will work on your fitness, strength, flexibility & endurance! Classes are designed for all ability levels and are offered in the seated position with various modifications available to fit each individual’s capabilities. No experience is needed, just be ready to get moving and have some fun! Recommended equipment: chair, resistance bands and hand weights. Resistance bands will be provided for new participants.
REGISTRATION: This class series is for individuals age 16 and up with a physical disability or visual impairment, including veterans. Registration in the series will provide access to all of the classes; you may participate in all classes or choose the classes you would like to attend. CLASS INFORMATION:
Full Body Fit with Colleen Davis, DPT Build your fitness level with this full body workout that combines intervals of strength, core and cardio moves. Options for both seated and standing athletes will be incorporated. This class will use hand weights, body weight and resistance bands.
Strength & Conditioning with Tyler Clements Work all muscle groups with a variety of strengthening and conditioning exercises that tone upper and lower body. This class will use resistance bands, hand weights and body weight.
Mindful Resilience Yoga with Rebecca Smith, ERYT 500 This seated yoga class will incorporate gentle yoga postures, movement sequences, breath work, flexibility and guided meditation to help you focus clearly, move mindfully and practice gratitude.
Mobility with Kayla Trobec, PT, DPT This class focuses on developing mobility, joint strength, body control, flexibility and range of motion, leading to well-functioning and resilient joints. Explore and open up new range of motion to prepare for athletic performance or everyday life.
Chair One Fitness with Katie Butler, CTRS, M.S. Ed. Move to the beat with this full body workout that incorporates both upper and lower body dance based choreography. This cardio and muscle conditioning workout will get your heart pumping
