Gaylord’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician Services provides the specialized care you need if you’ve had an accident, or suffer from a disease that has compromised your mobility or left you with chronic pain. Our Rehabilitation Physicians, called physiatrists, can provide you with an expert evaluation of your condition and an individualized treatment program. We encourage annual follow-up visits with a physiatrist for impairments resulting from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, multiple sclerosis, and other conditions that affect movement or cause pain. Your physiatrist will assess your function, review your medications, and will provide a resource assessment to maximize your quality of life.
