Aquatic Therapy

Water offers a safe, buoyant environment for individuals recovering from sports-related injuries, orthopedic surgery, or a painful musculoskeletal injury. Gaylord’s pool is maintained at 94 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmth of the water helps restore joint mobility during therapeutic exercises, promotes increased circulation, and reduces pain. Additionally, the buoyant environment produces an unloading effect on painful joints and body regions, allowing fuller range of motion with less discomfort. Our therapists will work closely with you to devise an individualized exercise program to suit your rehab needs. Article about the benefits of Gaylord's Aquatic Therapy Program.
