The Gaylord Annual Golf Classic is an 18-hole, competitive golf tournament in the scramble format held the first Monday of every June at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford. The next Golf Classic is June 1, 2020.
This tournament provides the operating income for Gaylord’s adaptive sports program for people with physical disabilities. Established in 1995, the Sports Association provides adaptive sport and leisure activities. Run by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, its goal is to demonstrate the “ability” in disability to both participants and the greater community through clinics, competitive teams and recreational clubs.
Enjoy a day of golf, camaraderie, great food, and a raffle and auction all to benefit the many activities of the Sports Association. The Golf tournament is attended by 120-144 golfers comprised of business leaders, hospital vendors, doctors, members of the Hospital Board of Directors, donors and friends. Sponsoship visibility opportunities include tee signs, carts signs, table tents, posters, give-aways, ad book and recognition by the Emcee.
