April 27, 2020: VISITOR UPDATE
We are now able to offer families/friends the opportunity to schedule a "window visit" with a patient. These visits are by appointment ONLY and must be prescheduled by families/friends. Please call Dee at (203) 284-2741, M - F, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m, for details/to schedule.

May 1, 2020: FLOWERS/PLANTS for PATIENTS
Please note that we are UNABLE to accept any flower or plant deliveries for our patients at this time. To protect the health of our patients and staff only vendors deemed essential are being allowed into the hospital. Unfortunately, floral/plant deliveries do not fall into this category. Thank you for understanding.

During COVID-19...

We Need Your Support More Than Ever

ENCOURAGE OUR STAFF

We appreciate every member of the Gaylord staff and during this time we want to highlight their dedication to Gaylord and our patients.

Send a Kudoboard note, video, GIF or photo to our caregivers/staff

We've created a digital board for loved ones and members of the community to share their support for our Gaylord caregivers and support staff. Visit Gaylord's Kudoboard to share your thanks, encouragement, or story with our healthcare heroes. (Click link or image below)

Here for You!  A page on our website with photos of staff that we are sharing on our Facebook page

Donate Financially

We are very grateful for your generosity to and support of the Gaylord community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have received many inquiries about how you can show support for our caregivers and contribute to donation efforts. Below are some ways you can participate in helping our community.

Donate online with a credit card or using Venmo. There are many unexpected costs when dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic such as the ongoing need for more Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and implementing new initiatives such as telehealth. We appreciate your gifts of support to help us defray unexpected costs related to keeping our staff and patients safe.

HOMEMADE SURGICAL CAPS

Thank you to everyone for the outstanding response to making and donating facemasks. We are in good shape with homemade masks but we do have a significant need for home sewn surgical caps. If you are a sewer and able to shift to making caps, we can really use them. Ideally, each of our clinical staff should have two caps - one to wear while the other is being washed. Directions are below.
