Amanda Meyer is a Level III Inpatient Occupational Therapist at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare since 2017. She serves as one of the six members of the operations group for the Milne Institute of Healthcare Innovation which is part of Gaylord’s research and applied technology sector. Along with her duties as a full time clinician, she leads the therapy staff in facilitation of clinical research and applied technology to advance evidenced based practice. Meyer has been an Occupational Therapist for nine years working in acute care and long term acute care settings. Along with her research interests, Amanda has clinical expertise in the areas of stroke and traumatic brain injury and is certified in treating patients with Ventricular Assistive Devices.
