Gaylord’s 14-week specialist course is offered annually. The program's focus alternates between spinal cord injury, brain injury and medically complex care. Taught by Gaylord staff who work with the patients related to the specified scope of the course provides first-person bedside experience. By sharing actual tools and techniques acquired over decades of hands-on experience, more healthcare providers are exposed to alternate ways of helping the patient achieve better outcomes.
