In each area of medical rehabilitation, you’ll find we offer a range of inpatient and outpatient programs. We present options for patients that address specific conditions and provide a path to recovery – physically, psychologically, emotionally, and socially.

Aphasia can be a result of a stroke, brain injury or other neurological condition.  When indicated hospitalized patients will receive aphasia treatment as part of a therapy program. Aphasia therapy is offered on an outpatient basis through our Outpatient Services to former inpatients as well anyone in community requiring ongoing therapy for aphasia or other communication disorders.

Outpatient Aphasia Program

The focus of outpatient aphasia therapy is to help each patient maximize his or her functional communication skills, independence, and sense of well-being. Patients engage in a wide range of group and individual therapies and everyday activities with the goals of building skills and independence. Individual therapy can include physical therapy, speech, and occupational therapy as well as counseling.
