Experts in Cognitive Therapy
Our success in cognitive therapy is based on decades of work in treating people who have experienced traumatic brain injury, a stroke, or some other form of neurological impairment, which is frequently the cause of cognitive impairment. Therapy is offered in group sessions or individual treatments. Individual therapy can include physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as counseling. Groups are formed based on cognitive skills, psychosocial assessment, acquired brain injury status, chemical usage, interpersonal, occupational, and academic specialties. Patients work on techniques for orientation, attention, memory, problem solving, planning, organizing, and executive functioning.
Cognitive Therapy is a standard part of inpatient care when needed. Outpatient Services offers Cognitive Therapy through the Neurological Rehab Program.
