Discover how Gaylord's setting provides a restorative, healing environment for our patients and their families. For details and videos about specific programs see the individual program pages.

In each area of medical rehabilitation, you’ll find we offer a range of inpatient and outpatient programs. We present options for patients that address specific conditions and provide a path to recovery – physically, psychologically, emotionally, and socially.

Conditions treated in our Stroke Program include but are not limited to aneurysms, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, and brain AVM. Stroke survivors who were very active prior to their stroke are often ready, willing, and able to participate in a more focused program called the Young Stroke Program.

Inpatient Stroke Program

Each stroke survivor arrives to our inpatient unit with complicated needs, many questions, and the desire to know what the future holds. A clinical care team is assembled from key areas of Gaylord’s expertise. Together, the team and patient begin the work of recovery, regaining strength, speech, mobility, and independence. The rate and pace of rehabilitation is determined by the patient and his or her team, and we face the future together, every step of the way.
