Once you're admitted at Gaylord Hospital, you and your loved ones or caregivers will be shown to your private room. An admissions interviewer verifies basic patient information such as name, address, social security number and insurance. You'll be assigned a care manager who coordinates your care, and if a unit change occurs, your assigned care manager may also change. Regardless of a change in your care team, they will ensure that you receive the most appropriate level of care. The average length of stay at Gaylord Hospital is 25 days, ranging from 14 to 28 days for many patients. But discharge planning begins upon admission and goals are set early in the process.
