Let's tackle diabetes burnout - together!

Living with Type 1 diabetes can be overwhelming. If you've ever felt burned out or frustrated by the daily challenges of managing your condition – you're not alone.

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is proud to offer an in-person support group for adults living with Type 1 diabetes. Led by Elizabeth Glass, a Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietitian, this group is designed to help you connect with others who truly understand what you're going through.

What to expect:

  • A welcoming, judgment-free space to share personal experiences and talk openly
  • Practical discussions around diet, glycemic management, lifestyle changes, and the emotional toll of diabetes
  • Monthly topics focused on real-life challenges – with occasional guest speakers sharing their insight
  • Health-conscious snacks and refreshments served at every session

When and where:

  • Join us in person on the 4th Tuesday of every month from 6 – 7pm at Gaylord Hospital's Chauncey Conference Center | 50 Gaylord Farm Road, Wallingford, CT
