Annette Karen Macannuco-Winslow, MD

Dr. Annette Karen Macannuco-Winslow is a highly respected Pain Management Specialist with almost three decades of advanced clinical expertise in interventional pain medicine. Having served patients at the Spine and Pain Institute at MidState Medical Center, Dr. Macannuco-Winslow brings an extensive background in anesthesiology and pain management, including faculty and fellowship roles at prestigious institutions such as Louisiana State University Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Macannuco-Winslow has made significant contributions to the field through both academic and clinical leadership. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, following her undergraduate studies in political science and psychology at Fordham University. Her longstanding commitment to comprehensive pain care, coupled with her skilled approach, makes her a key figure in the region’s pain management community.

Anton R. Cherry, PA-C

Anton R. Cherry, MMSc (PA-C), brings over two decades of expertise as a Physician Assistant specializing in neuromusculoskeletal and pain management. Certified and licensed in Connecticut, Anton has performed over 20,000 interventional injections, utilizing both fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance for treatments of joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, and nerves. His career highlights include leadership as Lead Physician Assistant at Hartford Hospital Pain Treatment Center and Midstate Spine and Pain Institute, where he oversaw clinical practice and provided mentorship to Advanced Practice Providers. Anton holds a Master of Medical Science from Yale School of Medicine and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in Biomedical Sciences. His commitment to integrating regenerative medicine into clinical care underscores his dedication to advancing pain management techniques.
