    About Our Program

    Wheelchair Assessment by Experts

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare’s Wheelchair Assessment Program helps individuals find the right mobility equipment to improve comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life. Our physical therapists, who are certified Assistive Technology Professionals, evaluate each person’s goals, physical abilities, daily environments, and mobility needs to recommend the most appropriate equipment solution.

Working with complex rehabilitation technology suppliers, our team provides comprehensive assessments for wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, including pressure mapping, standing frame evaluations, and custom seating support. Proper equipment selection can improve mobility, prevent complications, and help individuals get the most benefit from their assistive technology.
