Woodbridge Resident Dr. David Rosenblum Named Medical Director of Gaylord Specialty Healthcare’s Milne Institute for Healthcare Innovation

WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT, November 2, 2020 — Woodbridge resident David Rosenblum, MD, Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, was named Medical Director of the recently launched Milne Institute for Healthcare Innovation.

Located within Gaylord’s Wallingford headquarters, the Milne Institute for Healthcare Innovation aims to leverage Gaylord’s expertise in brain and spinal cord injuries, complex strokes, amputations and pulmonary diseases to conduct research and develop evidence-based practices and applied technologies with the potential to change lives around the world.
 

Since 1992, Dr. Rosenblum has treated patients at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare with spinal cord injury as well as many other conditions and diseases. Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with additional subspecialty board certifications in both spinal cord injury medicine and brain injury medicine, he is an active researcher, teacher, and clinician. Dr. Rosenblum directs the spinal cord injury clinical care and research at Gaylord which is part of one of only 14 Model SCI Centers in the country.

He is an associate clinical professor, Yale University School of Medicine in the departments of Neurology as well as Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.
