Gaylord Hospital is a nationally renowned, nonprofit, Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) with 137 private rooms, serving almost 1,500 patients annually who need complex medical management and intensive rehabilitation (physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory) following an acute illness or traumatic injury.

With nearly 30 programs, Gaylord Outpatient Services supports 9,000 patients annually to continue their recovery outside the hospital. Doctor-led care teams provide ongoing neurological rehabilitation (stroke, concussion, brain injury, spinal cord injury), pulmonary rehabilitation, long-term COVID-19 therapy, aphasia therapy, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, orthopedic and sports medicine PT, aquatic therapy, and adaptive sports. Gaylord also offers a comprehensive Concussion Clinic, Neuropsychology, wheelchair assessment services, and an on-site orthotics and prosthetics clinic.

Our campus provides free and accessible parking for all services.

The facility is located on the second floor of a brick office building located next to Cheshire Park. An elevator is conveniently located right off the lobby and there is plenty of free and accessible parking.

The facility is located in Suite 2, right next to Verizon. The office has plenty of free and accessible parking. Note that the parking lot is accessed from Bradley Street where there is also a turn in for Webster Bank.

Conveniently located in a major medical hub on Devine St in North Haven, our recently renovated space boasts 12,500 square feet of treatment area. New, additional state-of-the-art technology accommodates patients needing neurological therapy or orthopedic physical therapy. This location offers easy access from I91 and Rt. 15 with ample free and accessible parking.

Traurig House

Wallingford

Traurig House, located on our 400-acre Wallingford campus, is Connecticut's only transitional living center for patients recovering from a stroke or brain injury. It offers a welcoming, home-like setting for up to eight residents with programs to support daily living skills and access to outpatient therapies to support the transition from hospital to home. The Traurig program offers rehabilitation that enables residents to regain the communication, cognitive, and life skills they need to return to their homes and communities.
