Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit
This unit cares for patients recovering from major surgery, serious illness, or acute medical events who require close monitoring and specialized nursing care. Patients typically need frequent assessments, cardiac monitoring, and higher-acuity interventions than those provided on a medical-surgical unit, but do not require intensive care.
Telemetry/Medical Unit
Our Telemetry/Medical Unit provides continuous cardiac and medical monitoring for patients with acute or chronic conditions. Nurses gain experience managing a wide range of medical cases while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.
Stroke/Medical/Telemetry Unit
In this unit, nurses care for patients recovering from strokes and other neurological events. You’ll apply specialized monitoring and rehabilitation knowledge, helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life during a critical stage of recovery.
Neuro/Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Unit
This unit focuses on patients with complex neurological and spinal cord injuries. Nurses provide intensive, specialized care while supporting personalized rehab plans, enabling patients to maximize mobility, function, and overall recovery potential.
Ortho/Traumatic Brain Injury Unit
Nurses in this unit care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and traumatic brain injuries. You’ll combine acute care skills with advanced rehab strategies, working alongside therapists and physicians to guide patients through individualized recovery journeys.
