Gaylord Physical Therapy North Haven Invites Community to Ribbon Cutting in Celebration of Devine Street Clinic Expansion

NORTH HAVEN, CONN, July 22, 2022

Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce invite the community to a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the expansion of the Gaylord Therapy Services outpatient clinic on 8 Devine Street, North Haven.

The free event will take place on Wednesday, August 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The North Haven clinic recently more than doubled its original treatment space and added neurological therapy services to optimize the recovery of patients with physical, cognitive, and language challenges due to stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injury, brain injury, concussion, Guillain-Barre Syndrome and other neurological conditions.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet Gaylord President and CEO Sonja LaBarbera and tour the facility. Staff will demonstrate many of the clinic’s innovative rehab technologies, including the ZeroG overhead body-weight support gait and balance system, the Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS), and the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill.

The expansion in North Haven brings Gaylord’s neurological therapists, who have extensive experience treating complex patients, to the residents of North Haven and surrounding communities.

To attend the celebration, please RSVP by Friday, August 5, to www.Gaylord.org/ribboncutting.
