J.J. Mowder-Tinney, PT, PhD, NCS, brings more than 25 years of experience treating individuals with complex neurological conditions across a wide range of clinical settings.
A board-certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist with advanced certifications in neuro-developmental treatment, stroke rehabilitation, and exercise for aging adults, Dr. Mowder-Tinney is nationally recognized for her expertise and hands-on teaching style. She has led seminars across the country on neurological rehabilitation, motor learning, and balance, and has been honored with multiple awards for excellence in education and service.
Currently a professor of physical therapy at South College and a faculty scholar with the Parkinson’s Foundation, she is known for equipping clinicians with practical, evidence-based strategies that translate directly into improved patient outcomes.
