WALLINGFORD —  The holiday season is going to be just a little bit brighter this year — perhaps a lot brighter, actually — at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare with little, foot-and-a-half-tall electric Christmas trees decorating rehab patients' rooms.

The warmth and good feelings already are spreading throughout the facility.

On Wednesday, Santa Claus delivered trees to room after room, accompanied by Gaylord staff, a representative of Amazon, several members of the press and a very special, big-hearted former Gaylord patient.
