Gaylord physical therapist Kim Fredsall  and two patients share an honest conversation about navigating different forms of multiple sclerosis and the realities of a “hidden disease.”

Real Conversations About Life With Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis can look very different from one person to another. In a recent episode of the RealTalk MS podcast, Gaylord physical therapist Kim Fredsall, PT, joins longtime couple Kim Ward and Kim Perssonnati to share an honest conversation about life with MS.

When the couple met 16 years ago, Kim Perssonnati had already been living with relapsing remitting MS. Years later, Kim Ward was diagnosed with primary progressive MS. Together with Fredsall, they discuss how their symptoms differ, the challenges of navigating what is often called a “hidden disease,” and the role rehabilitation and ongoing support at Gaylord have played in helping them stay active and engaged in daily life.

Listen to the full conversation here to hear their perspectives on resilience, partnership, and living well with MS.
