Shannon Masella, M.A., CCC-SLP is an outpatient speech-language pathologist at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare in Wallingford, CT. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from The University of Connecticut. Shannon works with adults with neurological deficits in the areas of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing. She is a clinical specialist for acquired brain injuries, a co-coordinator for the outpatient day treatment programs, and a clinical supervisor for speech pathology graduate students. Special interest areas include aphasia, augmentative and alternative communication, and cognition.
