Gaylord Hospital
is a 137-bed, nonprofit, inpatient care setting for patients who need intensive medical rehabilitation following an acute illness, traumatic accident, or other serious health event. Headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, on a 400-acre campus, today Gaylord serves a mix of local, regional, national, and international patients.
Gaylord’s reputation originates with Gaylord Hospital, where our work in spinal cord injury, stroke, TBI, and complex medical care is well recognized. Gaylord is widely considered to have the region’s leading inpatient SCI program. Our inpatient rehabilitation experience also includes bone and joint, lungs, heart, wound care, infectious diseases, complex neurological conditions such as MS, ALS, and Parkinson’s, and more.
